Abstract:

Please join us for the Chapter Fall Dinner!  We welcome all stakeholders from Michigan's construction industry to attend.  The meeting will include a networking dinner, presentations from lean adopters, and a brief overview of the latest topics. 

This event features Skender Construction presentation titled: Lean Project Delivery: Eliminate Waste - Add Value; Countryside Senior Apartments Case Study. The presentation will provide an overview on Lean Construction Principles and demonstration through a case study (58,000 SF, 70 units, LEED silver project target).

Date and Time:              Thursday, November 18, 2010, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  

Cancellation Deadline:     Monday, November 15, 2010.   There will be no refunds after this time. Each person must register and pay to attend the meeting and dinner. Please help us save time, expense, and avoid people showing up at the last minute… plan ahead and register early! We cannot keep costs reasonable and caterers cannot plan their food without sufficient notice.

Value Added Proposition:

LCI chapters enable practitioners from lean-oriented owners through supply chain partners to meet and exchange lessons learned from the use of lean principles and techniques, both internally and across the capital project design / delivery supply chain.  During the meeting, not only will you hear both design and construction perspectives on Lean Construction from leading practitioners, you will discuss them as well with other meeting attendees.  Your participation and feedback for future chapter events are fundamental to the success of this newly formed chapter, so we hope you will join us!
